Created specifically for television and shot during four sold-out performances in San Francisco in 2000, this special utilizes innovative techniques to provide a new perspective and a visual experience different from the live show.

 

David Mallet, the award-winning director, employed 14 cameras and special lighting to capture the essence of the extraordinary performances.  The special has won three Primetime Emmy Awards (2001).
