ALEGRÍA BIDS A FINAL FAREWELL TO LONDON
ONLY TWO WEEKS REMAINING
The world-famous Alegría is just a fortnight away from taking its final bow ever at the Royal Albert Hall as the latest Cirque du Soleil show comes to an end.

Over half a million Brits have already seen the breathtaking performers, flamboyant costumes, extraordinary lighting and elaborate sets of Alegría.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, Gwen Stefani, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinhio, Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding and Oscar nominee Helen Mirren are just some of the stars who have flocked to see the operatic extravaganza before its London finale on February 11th 2007.
Critics alike are spellbound - Mark Wareham, Mail on Sunday, said: "Visually, Alegría is an absolute treat. Exquisite costumes and precision choreography – set against the splendidly intimate "oh my god that acrobat's going to land in my lap" backdrop at the Royal Albert Hall – help to create a real sense of the mystery of carnival where anything is possible."
Charles Spencer, The Daily Telegraph, said: "The climax of the show is the greatest flying trapeze act I have ever witnessed… It's absolutely thrilling, at once scary and beautiful, and one of those rare acts you feel you could watch for hours without becoming bored."
The show has become a firm favourite amongst Londoners, having wowed British audiences four times since 1997. The youngest performer in Alegría, Nikita, was aged just three years when the show first arrived - he now proudly replaces his brother in the breathtaking kangaroo jump on the Russian Bars.
Alegría has been performed close to 200 times in the Royal Albert Hall. The show has also played to sell-out audiences in 41 cities, in nine different countries from Japan to Mexico.
