CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’S ALEGRÍA FLIES INTO TOWN
London, November 7, 2006 – Cirque du Soleil proudly brings Alegría to The Royal Albert Hall from January 5, 2007.
Featuring an international cast of 56 performers and musicians from 13 countries, the 2½ hour spectacle includes awe-inspiring acrobats, a daring fire knife dance, fearless aerial acts spell-binding contortionists, as well as hilariously outlandish clowns.
Enjoyed by millions of spectators throughout the globe, Alegría beautifully evokes a time when fantasy and magic were central to every day life. Alegría, a Spanish word for joy, is an operatic-style renaissance of dreams with an astonishing blend of dance, song and acrobatics with incomparable set design, costume and lighting.
