PRIZES AND WINNERS

GRAND PRIZES:
Two (2) Grand Prizes will be awarded. Each Grand Prize includes:
  • A pair of tickets to see Varekai;
  • Two plane tickets wherever you choose to see Varekai in North America;
  • 3 night accommodation for two;
  • The Tapis Rouge experience;
  • A special backstage tour of Varekai.
 
Estimated retail value of each Grand Prize is approximately CAN $5,000 (3,150$ US, according to an exchange rate of 0,63%).
 
The following conditions apply to the Grand Prizes:
  • The prize may only be used for the Varekai show in North America;
  • All costs incurred by the winner and/or his or her guest will be their responsibility, including, but not limited to, meal costs and purchases on the site.
  • The prize may be used for any Varekai performance between, August 2, 2002 and August 1, 2003. However, the prize may not be used for Varekai premieres.

WEEKLY PRIZES:
Four (4) Weekly Prizes will be awarded each week of the promotion period. The person who accumulates the most stamps in his or her passport for a week will win a Weekly Prize. The Weekly Prize consists of Cirque du Soleil Presents Alegría DVD, of a approximate retail value of CAN $45 ($29 US).

WINNERS:
The winner of the first weekly prize is David Gaiser from Houston, Texas. David has invited 153 of his friends to Embark on the Journey!

Steve Judge from Plano, Texas referred 368 friends during the second week of the contest and has earned the second weekly prize!
 
The third weekly prize winner is Chantale Deshaies, from Granby, Quebec. Chantale sent a notice to 225 of her friends about the Embark on the Journey promotion.
 
The fourth and final weekly prize has been awarded to Danny Allard, from Cap-Santé, Quebec. Danny recommended the contest to 375 of his friends during the last period of the promotion.
 
Tracy Howe, from Gastonia, North Carolina and Andrew Kleis, from Denver, Colorado, are the happy winners of the Embark on the Journey promotion Grand Prizes. Each of them will have the opportunity to visit the destination of their choice along the Varekai tour in the next year. Stay connected to the Club to see where the wind will take them!
