Guy Caron brings decades of experience and a lifelong commitment to artistic innovation to this show. Guy was Cirque's first Artistic Director when the company was created in 1984. He was also the founder of Montreal's National Circus School. "We put martial arts into the show to create our epic story," he says. "Beijing Opera was another major source of inspiration because it includes so much acrobatics."
"The script was the element that dictated the way the theatre was built and how the sets would be used. That's totally new for Cirque."
