Jaque Paquin has been designing the rigging at Cirque since 1990. He created the aerial environments for Saltimbanco, Dralion, Varekai and Zumanity, plus the fantastic boat in "O." "The risk factor in this show is the highest I've ever had to face," he says. "And safety is priority number one. Always, always. The scenographic concept of the show creates a tremendously dangerous environment. There's a constant risk of artists falling, and in some sequences of the show that could be a fall of a hundred feet."
