Patricia Ruel has accumulated a long list of high-profile theatre and TV credits in a few short years. Her biggest challenge on this show was to give the martial arts performers props that would be as functional as they are decorative. Working with Cirque gave her the budget and time she needed to develop them throughout the rehearsal process until the finished products met her exacting requirements.
