The BEST Snowman on the Block

Armed with a carrot, old clothing and a broomstick, together my sister and I bundled up and trudged into the snow covered yard year after year to create the most amazing snowman in the neighborhood. Though his nose was never exactly straight and his hat almost always crooked he stood tall and proud on our front lawn for neighbors to admire as they passed by.

Now, years later my sister and I continue to uphold the tradition with our own children and the wonder in their eyes as his carrot nose is secured into place makes every moment worth it.
