Support to the cultural milieu
At Cirque du Soleil, we believe that beyond our own creations, it is essential to help showcase our artistic community. It is with this in mind that Cirque du Soleil’s Cultural Action was born over 10 years ago. The company supports artists and artistic institutions in various ways and is involved in many cultural development organizations.
The company offers financial support for innovative projects created by emerging artists and artistic companies through partnerships with local artistic organizations and venues. Each year, more than a hundred artists and companies benefit from our support.
The Access to the Arts program
Cirque du Soleil seeks to encourage creativity by purchasing the products of artistic creation and supports the performing and visual arts by buying tickets for events, exhibitions and shows and redistributing them among its employees. The organization can thus help artists or artistic companies bring creative, impressive, innovative or bold new productions to the stage, while allowing its employees to discover works of quality which may not always enjoy sufficient press coverage.
