In order to reach maximum efficiency in the use and consumption of materials in its operations, Cirque du Soleil favours (in order) prevention, reduction at source, reuse, recycling and adding value. Cirque also seeks to reduce its use of toxic materials by substituting alternatives that are less harmful to the environment and less threatening to health. In addition, the company has engaged an organization to handle the appropriate disposal of hazardous controlled materials.
