Alegría: A water recovery project
In keeping with its role as the environmental conscience on tour, the Alegría school installed a very simple water-recovery system using rain barrels during the show’s run in Brazil. Simple as can be, this initiative appreciably reduced the tour’s consumption of drinking water, as the rain-barrel water was used for the team’s housekeeping needs.
