Cirque du Soleil has purchased new bicycles, increasing the number of bicycles in its self-serve fleet for Montreal employees to 15. Between May and October, the bicycles were borrowed more than 720 times—an increase of 37% in relation to the same period last year. Considering that the bicycles are used mainly to shuttle between our two business offices, this represents a savings of some 260 kg of CO2 not released into the atmosphere.
