Why are there slight differences with certain songs on Cirque du Soleil soundtrack CDs, as compared to the actual performance?

Many of Cirque du Soleil’s live music and songs are constantly evolving, and therefore may be different from the version on the CD. These changes are not all available on the soundtracks.
