ONE DROP

"We all drink from the same well. Water is our common bond, uniting us as human beings and as citizens of this planet. And yet, while this precious resource flows abundantly in some parts of the world, in others, water or lack thereof is a source of poverty and sickness. Every year, more than 3 million children die from water-related causes. Isn't that a sufficient reason to act?" Guy Laliberté, founder of Cirque du Soleil.

ONE DROP was established by Guy Laliberté to answer this call to action. It fights poverty by providing access to water and sanitation in developing countries. Around the world, ONE DROP raises everyone’s awareness of water-related issues by initiating activities which draw inspiration from the distinctive popular education using social arts approach it has developed.
