Julie has a broad artistic knowledge and international experience gained through 15 years as a professional singer, and through lifelong exposure to the arts. Over the years she has played many roles both onstage and off- as a performer on 24 CD recordings, as a recording editor, a radio producer (CBC Radio), a singer with groups such as the Chamber Choir of Europe, Mikaeli Chamber Choir (Sweden), and the World Chamber Choir, as co-founder, manager and member of the international vocal ensemble World Voices, and as a project coordinator for the International Federation for Choral Music. The joy of singing has taken her around the world, living for seven years in Switzerland, Belgium and Sweden, and touring Asia, the South Pacific, Europe and North America. Her newest role, as Artistic Talent Scout, combines her many passions into one perfect fit.
