Artistic and Athletic Performance
Our Artistic Support teams scour the globe in search of athletes and performers who excel at what they do, support them in their metamorphosis or help ensure that their needs are met both on and off stage.
Artistic Direction
Our Artistic team is responsible for ensuring the continuity, quality and integrity of our shows and the management of a cast of acrobats, athletes, dancers, singers, musicians, clowns and actors. Each Artistic team member should have a solid theatre background and passion for what they do and a commitment to the artistic and technical integrity of a show.
Performance Medecine
The reality of a Cirque du Soleil performer goes beyond the adulation and applause. There is a lot of hard work, training and at times even some rehabilitation. Our experienced team of therapists and athlete support professionals has many specialized individuals with extensive backgrounds working with high-calibre athletes.
Stage Management
Our Stage Managers work closely with their Artistic Director to coordinate all artistic and technical requirements of the show and manage the training, show and rehearsal schedules. Each Stage Manager should have a solid theatre background and a passion for what they do. They should also be committed to the show’s artistic and technical integrity.
Wardrobe - Shows in Performance
Our Show Wardrobe teams maintain and repair wigs, hats, costumes, masks and shoes for all of our shows. They also support our performers with hair, make-up and costume changes. Each member of our team has a solid theatre and wardrobe background, passion for what they do and a commitment to teamwork.
Production and Technical Support & Operations
Stepping backstage at a Cirque du Soleil show is an experience in itself. Beyond the beautiful costumes, enchanting music and the roars of the crowd lies a family of skilled individuals working in concert, supporting the seamless onstage performance.
Our Production and Technical Support & Operations are filled with talented and driven individuals who help translate imagination into realization, ensure the smooth operation of our shows and directly support the daily efforts of our performers.
Artistic Direction

Automation
Our Automation teams manage all aspects of our shows’ motorized equipment. Each team is responsible for operating the stage machinery (winches) during performances and rehearsals as well as providing regular and thorough inspections and maintenance to ensure the integrity and safety of the equipment.
Carpentry
Our Carpentry teams manage all aspects of the set during performances, both on stage and backstage, as well as participate in regular set inspections and maintenance. Each member of our team brings passion, talent and technical skills as well as a commitment to teamwork.
Electrical
Our team of Electricians oversees the set-up and teardown of infrastructures, electrical equipment and heating/air-conditioning systems of our touring shows. They also conduct regular inspections and maintenance.
Lighting
At Cirque du Soleil, lighting is where technology meets artistry, creating a world of visual interest that combines the power of light and the dedication of our team of talented Lighting technicians. Each member is skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, operating follow spots and consoles, and maintaining some of the most amazing lighting rigs in the industry.
Projection and Multimedia
Our Video and Projections specialists exist in the realm where art meets technology and where acrobatics, costumes, music and projection all seamlessly connect. Our team of specialists works closely with our creators to transform an idea into a reality.
Props
Our Props teams are made up of multi-talented individuals who can paint, maintain and repair props, sew and saw and are well-versed in mechanics, electronics and so much more.
Rigging
Our Rigging teams oversee all aspects of the use and maintenance of rigging equipment used in our shows. Our riggers are confident working at heights, highly professional, technically skilled and team oriented.
Sound
Our team of Sound technicians oversees all audio aspects of our shows. Each member of our team has a solid audio background, a passion for music, is committed to teamwork and enjoys a challenge.
Special/Fluid Effects
Our Special Effects & Fluid Effects teams are responsible for the operation and maintenance of atmospheric, flame pyrotechnic and/or fluid effects systems and equipment in a safe and consistent manner.
