Proudly presented by Desjardins®, Cirque du Soleil returns to Calgary with a new Big Top production OVO under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau at Stampede Park (Lot 6). Premiering tonight OVO will play until Sunday, October 9.
About the show
The name OVO means “egg” in Portuguese. Directed by Deborah Colker, the first female director at Cirque du Soleil, OVO is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement.
Additional performances
Cirque du Soleil announced today that 19 additional performances (final two weeks) from Tuesday, September 27 to Sunday, October 9 inclusively are now on sale. Tickets for all shows available through www.cirquedusoleil.com/ovo.
Performance schedule
Performance schedule: Tuesdays through Thursdays at 8 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sundays at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.; and dark on Mondays.
Exceptions: 4 p.m. performances on Thursday September 29 and October 6; dark on Tuesday October 4.
