Michael Jackson’s three solo concert tours were the greatest entertainment events of all time.
Starting in 1987, the Bad World Tour featured 123 concerts in 15 countries. And, playing to 4.4 million fans and grossing over $125 million, was recognized as the biggest and most successful tour of all time!
Although he vowed never to tour again, Michael Jackson kicked off the Dangerous World Tour in 1992, and it proved to be an even bigger success. Featuring pyrotechnics, several illusions, and a stuntman, the show was so big that two 747s were needed to transport all the equipment. And, true to his message of spreading global love, he donated the profits from the entire tour to charity.
With his third and final tour, Michael Jackson broke his own world record — again. Launched in 1996, the HIStory World Tour hit 58 cities in 35 countries on five continents. And, with 82 concerts for 4.5 million fans, grossed a total of $165 million.
And now, the legend continues as Cirque du Soleil and the Estate of Michael Jackson have joined forces to create Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour...
We went to the DCU Center this evening, the Michael Jackson Show was not worth the money. Very disappointing, it was a singing and dance show. Not the typical Cirque du solell, with the acrobatics, up in the air routines, and physical & strength routines. Might have been worth $25.00 a ticket. People left early, hardly any clapping until the end.

Michael Jackson...my first crush.... being of the same age and generation, Michael is my first true love. I never had the opportunity to see him, other than on tv growing up and now with his death, this is the closet I will ever get to be near him. I will be seeing the show May 16th and 17th in Worcester, Mass... can't wait to finally get to experience the boy/man I have loved since I was a teenager. I pray somewhere he knows how much I love and miss him.
