What the media say about the show

"Cirque du Soleil launches over-the-top, hit-packed King of Pop spectacle"
Rolling Stone
"A Thriller of a show!"
USA Today
"His Legend Lives On! Michael Jackson’s star shined bright again as Cirque du Soleil opened its Immortal world tour to 13,000 screaming fans."
US Weekly

"The eye-popping, high-wire acrobatics and elaborate costuming that are a hallmark of any Cirque show are of course present, but there are a multitude of Jackson-specific touches. Oversized versions of his signature accessories - glove and penny loafers - come to life during a rocking version of "Beat It," and airborne performers wearing LED suits light up the darkened arena to the strains of "Human Nature." Jackson's best-known and loved dance moves are all there, too."

I watched the show in Vienna last weekend and I really enjoyed it. It captured Michael's magic and message wonderfully. It's more of a dance show than a lot of acrobatics and I guess that is the root of some of the disappointed comments. Maybe Cirque will address those complaints for the resident Las Vegas show which as I heard will be completely different than the touring show. But I personally liked it. Michael's music is fantastic.

In Immortal there are moments of great beauty, as in the clear, rich voice of the young Michael in “I'll Be There” and “Ben,” as well as rousing, driving beats, as in the classic and iconic “Billie Jean,” the controversial “Black or White,” and the ageless-sounding “Beat It.” New listeners to this music, including children, and old fans--as well as people of all ages who simply enjoy this unique blend of music and amazing acrobatics--can fully experience this classic body of work.

This is not a classic CDS show...it is a concert-tribute show with performers. In Cph the venue is renowned for apalling sound - but here, it was amazing! Great care had been put into keeping the atmosphere intimate; and it worked. The show was good. It was nice. And it is strange to say that about a company who consitently have given me "wow", "uhhs" and "ahhs" for years. But as always; every performer was of the highest standard.

Not seen a cirque show before, and after seeing this will not bother again. Music was great, but thats about it. Show has a couple of good acrobatic bits, but the dance parts are mediocre, and there is a lot of killing time during the show. The 02 arena is far too big for this and I just felt like I had been completely ripped off. Will not bother again.

I was in the first show to London, the Oct.12, and it was just amazing, fantastic. I was very good seat, just front of the stage. This show reflect, with respect & love, the spirit and the work of Michael. A real masterpiece... I would like to say a huge BRAVO to Cirque Du Soleil, we spent a fabulous time. I can't wait to see you again in France next year... Michael has a deep respect for the Cirque du Soleil, and I'm sure he would loved your show... THANK YOU!!! <3

I cannot express how disappointed I was with this. In fact, if I knew who to go to, I would ask for my money back!I have seen several shows before, all were excellent. O2 is far too big, the stage was too small and the show was boring! Left at half time. It was like watching a poor lookey-likey with a terrible voice. Car park was £28 which was also a rip-off.
