For the official opening of its new show, OVO, in Montreal, Quebec City and Toronto, Cirque du Soleil will break with tradition and, for the very first time, organize a 25th anniversary gala evening to benefit the ONE DROP Foundation. Each of these three special evenings will culminate in a unique celebration under the company’s 25th anniversary theme and colours.

In Montreal, the event will take place on Friday, May 8, 2009 under the Grand Chapiteau on the Jacques-Cartier Pier at the Old Port.

ONE DROP fights against poverty by providing access to water and raising awareness among individuals and communities about the need for mobilization in order to make safe water accessible to all, in sufficient quantity, today and tomorrow.
