Public transport

From Central Station take the line S21 in direction „Aumühle“. Exit at "Billwerder-Moorfleet", there you will find a free Shuttle-Service to the Grand Chapiteau. Alternative you can get off at „Mittlerer Landweg“ and take the bus line 330 to „Am Rungedamm“. You have to walk about two kilometers to the Grand Chapiteau.

Travelling by car

* Coming from Hamburg: Drive in direction of Elbbrücken and take the B4 to the South. At Hamburg-Veddel you drive on at the A255. At the motorway-cross Hamburg-Süd you change to the A1 (direction Berlin/Geesthacht/A25/A24/Lübeck). Take the exit 34-Hamburg-Moorfleet in direction of Hamburg-Billwerder / Hamburg-Moorfleet. Take the Amandus Stubbe Straße and follow the street up to Grand Chapiteau.

* Coming from Flensburg (A7): Take the A7 and exit at 36-Maschener Kreuz. Drive on at the A250 in direction of Berlin/Maschen/Lüneburg/Bremen/Lübeck/A1. At the exit 1-Maschener Kreuz filter in direction A1 (Berlin/Lübeck/Hamburg). Take the exit 36-Kreuz Hamburg-Süd to the A1. Take the exit Amandus Stubbe Straße and turn left in the Amandus Stubbe Straße. Follow the street up to Grand Chapiteau.

* Coming from Lübeck (A1): Take the A1 to Hamburg and exit at Hamburg-Moorfleet. Drive on the Andreas-Meyer-Straße
(Ring 2). In 700 meters drive ahead on the Amandus Stubbe Straße. Follow the street up to Grand Chapiteau.

* Coming from Hannover/Bremen (A1/A7): Take the A1 or A7 and exit at 36-Kreuz Hamburg-Süd. Filter in direction Berlin/A24/Lübeck. Take the exit 34-Hamburg-Moorfleet in direction of Hamburg-Billwerder / Hamburg-Moorfleet. Please take the Amandus Stubbe Straße and follow the street up to Grand Chapiteau.

The Grand Chapiteau (Big Top)

The Grand Chapiteau seats over 2,500 spectators per performance with an adjoining entrance tent. Like a Roman amphitheatre, the seats fan out for 270 degrees around a central, circular stage. The Grand Chapiteau is a temporary structure which is supported by four masts. All seats are cushioned with backs. For additional seating information, please see the Price Details and Seating plan.

Duration

2 hours 30 minutes, including a 30-minute intermission.

Latecomers

The show starts on time and latecomers are admitted only during a suitable break in the performance or at the discretion of the Head Usher Late-coming wheelchair-users can only be admitted at the intermission. Late-coming wheelchair-users can only be admitted at the intermission

Entrance Tent

The Entrance Tents open 1 hour prior to show time. The Grand Chapiteau opens ½ hour before show time.

Food & Beverages

Popcorn, candies and other snacks are available for purchase inside the Entrance Tents along with a variety of beverages. Beer and wine available for purchase at the Food & Beverage counters for guests with proper ID. Cash, PIN and most major credit cards are accepted at the Food & Beverage Counters.

There is a Cirque du Soleil store in the entrance tent. Supplement your style and enhance your media collection with official Cirque du Soleil merchandise available in at the Cirque Store inside the entrance tent.

Miscellaneous

• The temperature inside the Grand Chapiteau is controlled.
• There is no coat check.
• Smoking is not permitted in the Grand Chapiteau and only permitted in designated areas..
• Mobile phones must be turned off during the show.
• Cameras, video and tape recorders are strictly prohibited.
• Facilities (Toilets) for guests with disabilities are available
• Animals are not allowed (Service animals may be permitted. Please advise the Box Office when you purchase your tickets.)

At Cirque du Soleil we make every effort to ensure that every one of our shows offers accommodations to our patrons with special needs. That is why an area in each Grand Chapiteau (big top) has been made wheelchair-accessible. Below you will find all necessary information regarding booking space or seats in this area. • Wheelchair users should reserve a space in the designated area for wheelchairs in good time before the performance because the rest of the circus tent is not accessible to wheelchairs.

Seats and reductions

• Wheelchair users and one escort each are entitled to a specific price reduction.
• Because the number of seats for the escorts and places for wheelchair users is limited, any additional escorts may have to sit outside of the designated area for wheelchair users.
• We cannot guarantee the availability of seats near to the designated wheelchair users' area.
• We do not have any wheelchairs available for the use of the public.

• Persons with entrance tickets for the disabled persons' designated area should arrive at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the performance.
• Wheelchair users who arrive late will be admitted only during the next interval.

Our ushers will escort you to the appropriate seating area within the tent.
