VIBRER AU RYTHME DES PEUPLES DU MONDE
Des influences indigènes et des rythmes vocaux donnent le ton à TOTEM grâce à l’imagination de deux nouveaux compositeurs pour le Cirque du Soleil, Bob & Bill (Guy Dubuc et Marc Lessard). Alliant cultures et genres musicaux différents, le duo a travaillé de concert avec les artistes de la scène afin de donner à chaque numéro acrobatique un souffle et une énergie uniques. Il en résulte un récit de l’humanité sur fond de musiques et d’instruments des peuples autochtones du monde, combinant les rythmes des Premières Nations de l’Amérique du Nord aux sonorités du flamenco espagnol, en passant par les sons du sous-continent indien.

This show was different then i expected it to be. It was more or less not Cirquey but i liked it anyway. In fact when Ome Kayo Kanobe started playing it took all my willpower not to sing along!!!

I just saw this show for the first time last night and I was saying that there should be an album for the music that was performed by the band. Great Show! I will be back next year!

I had the wonderful opportunity to work as a Janitor for the show in San Diego, I can say that has been the best job of my life because on a daily basis I got to interact with the performers while they practiced, when they were just lounging around, or getting dressed for the show. Such wonderful people to be around, the energy from these people is absolutly ausome. Then I went to see the show and I was blown away with what I got to experience. I suggest that any and everyone see the show!

I truly enjoyed every minute of the show! It was amazing and the message behind it was just spectacular! I encourage everybody to go see the show as it is one of a kind! I'm amazed by the talents of the performers! best of luck to you all! Hope to see you again soon in Toronto! :)

My partner treated me to Totem and Tapis Rouge in Montreal this past weekend. It was great to be at the opening week of such an amazing show. Huge fan forever of all your productions. This was my first time under the tent. Loved it. Great story and super talented cast.

OMG! that indie hip song! gosh it was my first time listening to it and I just had to get up and dance! suuuch an energizing track! I love it and I'm so excited to see the show when it comes to San Fran! :D
