The  name  expresses  the  essence  of  the  show  and  is  inspired  by  the  idea  of  people  assembling under a tent, as humans have done for millennia. Cirque du Soleil’s Big Top is a temporary meeting place where, each night, an improvised community of people gather to take in a live event.

With Cirque du Soleil UNDER THE SAME SKY, we want people to feel included and be transported by a feeling of interconnectivity—not just as spectators, but as active participants in a communal live experience.

The show name is not the usual single word, but a phrase that will be translated in the language of the countries we visit, giving us a new way to connect with our fans and providing them with a first hint about the show.
