Refrigeration Mechanic/HVAC Specialist

Your responsibilities will entail:
- Assist with the set-up and tear-down of HVAC and temporary electrical infrastructure;
- Operate HVAC equipment to maintain show conditions and comfort of patrons.
- Troubleshoot HVAC and electrical installations to restore functionality in fault situations;
- Maintain and repair HVAC and electrical infrastructure in compliance with the infrastructure preventive maintenance and inspection program set by industry norms and internal company standards;
- Safely operate generators and electrical equipment in compliance with infrastructure installation and operating procedures set by industry norms and internal company standards;
- Supervise local labor personnel during setup and tear-down and for special projects;
-Participate in daily inspections and show-shift monitoring on site;
- Apply Cirque du Soleil and local standards and procedures for a safe working environment;
- Remain on call for emergencies.
- Support the Senior Electrician in the daily maintenance and inspection of electrical equipment, generators, HVAC equipment;
- Supervise quality maintenance, cleanliness and security on site;
We would like to meet you if you have:
- Refrigeration Mechanic/HVAC Technician certification;
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience with temporary infrastructure;
- Experience with generator power;
- Tour/entertainment industry experience an asset;
- Ability to work long hours and under pressure;
- Knowledge of workplace safety and fall prevention;
- Ability to work at heights;
- Ability to drive a forklift and operate other heavy machinery;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software for Windows;
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential;
- Available to tour full-time and work in foreign countries.
