Blue Man Group is seeking a Group Sales Associate to join its Chicago production. The Group Sales Associate serves as support staff for the Group Sales Manager and is responsible for executing group sales for the Chicago production through outbound sales efforts as well as inbound group bookings. The group sales associate handles contracting, payment and printing of tickets for groups as well as group revenue reports for the Group Sales Manager, the Regional Director of Sales and upper management at the company. The Group Sales Manager will have constant interaction with both TicketMaster and Salesforce systems and ensure both always has precise group information. The Group Sales Associate will field incoming calls and emails regarding group sales while ensuring communication with the box office with other company departments is prompt and accurate. The Group Sales Associate will maintain consistent and open communication with the Group Sales Manager including but not limited to a weekly check-in.
Additional duties include:
- Responsible for meeting sales goals collaboratively set with the Group Sales Manager and the Regional Director of Sales
- Participate in weekly brainstorming/team building meetings with the Sales and Marketing departments
- Coordinate and execute outbound sales efforts to increase group sales
- Uphold an exemplary level of customer service at all times
Candidates should have experience in group sales and/or guest/customer relations and should be a fun, energetic and self-motivated individual that enjoys a busy and creative work environment. Knowledge of ticketing procedures, Salesforce and/or Ticketmaster preferred. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
