The Orlando production of Blue Man Group at Universal is looking for a part‐time stage crew (Deck) position. Qualified candidates must be safety conscious and detail‐oriented, while maintaining high work standards.
The responsibilities of the deck position include, but are not limited to, running a show track, maintaining props and scenery, creating new props, and repairing existing props. The position works primarily backstage performing all duties assigned for preset, during the performance and at the end of the night. The candidate will be responsible to attend crew meetings, participate in outside special events, and communicate show needs and changes to the Props Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will have a strong props and scenic construction background and have experience with scenic painting, mold making, power tools, hand tools, wood, metal and plastic. The candidate must have a strong work ethic to keep up with our fast‐ paced show environment.
Due to show schedules, candidates must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility preferred as schedule fluctuates with the theme park seasons.
