Cirque du Soleil is evoking the past and taking it to new and emerging markets.
Be part of a newly formed team excited to tour in a traditional circus environment and travel together to towns, cities and countries where no other Cirque du Soleil show has gone before!
 
As Production Coordinator, you will coordinate logistics for the touring personnel's travel and lodging and provide human resources services. You will work in close collaboration with other tour members, International Headquarters (IHQ) departments, promoters from the various territories, and external suppliers in assuring quality services and efficient tour operations.
 
Your role will be to:
 
Human Resources
- Administer and coordinate immigration-related activities, as directed by the Immigration Advisor, and to follow up on them in accordance with IHQ social security guidelines
- Support Tour Services and administer the various tour policies (work clothes, recognition for years of services program, etc.)
- Guide and support employees and artists on matters related to group insurance, medical compensation, and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and act as a liaison and follow-up with relevant parties
- Establish relationships with medical clinics and specialists in each city, as required, based on the list of preferred medical providers
- Guide new employees and artists in their integration on tour
 
Travel and lodging
- In collaboration with the promoters, coordinate and ensure a smooth process for all the tour logistics related to transportation and lodging of the tour's permanent and temporary staff
- Prepare the rooming list in keeping with tour policies and employee seniority
- Create and communicate information required for staff arrivals and departures and tour breaks, manage occasional travel and lodging issues
- Ensure compliance with the organization’s travel and lodging policies on tour
 
General
- Carry out general administrative tasks such as creating a tour book, specific documents and city reports, filing, making photocopies, mailing, etc.
- Actively participate in establishing a friendly, safe and creative work environment
- Manage a temporary local employee
- Actively take part in set-up and tear-down operations, and help colleagues with their duties

- Relevant experience with show, circus or event logistics
- Experience managing transport and lodging for large groups, an asset
- Experience with disability management, an asset
- Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
- Leadership skills
- Computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite savvy
- A positive mindset and a thirst for adventure
- Experience in emerging countries together with cultural awareness
- Capacity to work well under pressure and under challenging weather conditions
- Fluency in English, be at ease to operate within the international environment of Cirque du Soleil
- Availability to tour full time and to work in foreign countries
- A driver’s licence
