As an expert in worker’s compensation, disability claims management and group benefits, you will provide support to artists, employees and show staff to maintain high standards of claim management and insurance compliance.
In a dynamic environment that requires a great deal of autonomy, you will support your colleagues, especially the Team Lead & Director – Health Management and Group Insurance.
Your responsibilities will entail:
-Liaise with Third Party Administrators to collaborate on administration of all claims.
-Collaborate with the Performance Medicine Department with regards to injured artists and their workers’ compensation status and provide active injury information for the weekly Performance Medicine meeting.
-Process all workers’ compensation claims and reports for assigned locations.
-Liaise with show artistic staff and company management concerning injured artists.
-Recommend changes in policies and procedures to prevent accidents and illness.
-Participate in regular site visits to assigned show locations in Las Vegas.
-Process Short Term and Long-Term disability claims. Liaise with the 3rd party disability company and employee. Process and code insurance benefits payments for employees who are out on leave.
-Determine eligibility for Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Prepare FMLA/LOA forms and letters. Track FMLA leaves and intermittent FMLA. Communicate leave information to show management and payroll.
-Process insurance enrollments, terminations and changes for assigned locations. Process COBRA notifications. -Assist with payment of monthly benefits invoices. Assist with benefits complaints and inquiries to ensure quick resolution.
-Provide support for Benefits events such as Open Enrollment, annual Flu Shots, Wellness Seminars, etc.
We would like to meet you if you have:
- College diploma in Human Resources Management;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in worker’s compensation claims processing or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Must have good knowledge of U.S. labor laws;
- A great fluency in English.
