I had had already seen Corteo, Zarkana, Zumanity, Varekai, Totem and Kooza. I like them all, but Ka was definitely the most impressive in regard to the effects on stage and the performers flying and swinging over the audience's head. The story was a little basic, but I would say that it was better than Zarkana's. The battle scene was amazing and the stage spinning was surreal. My only complaint: This was the only Cirque du Soleil that did not have an intermission. I could have used one!

I saw this show in July of 2012 and I was in awe of its enormity. For those who have been reading about the audience disappointment over the projected (non-live) Battle scene, there is good news! The new live battle scene is being premiered to the media this afternoon with it's reintroduction in the show happening sporadically this week. By December 12, it will be in every show. Great news for me, since I'm seeing the show December 26. Such a fantastic show!

My first Cirque show and I was absolutely blown away. The digital ending was slightly disappointing but overall this was an amazing show to watch. I highly recommend it

I really wish I had the opportunity to see this prior to the accident. This is perhaps the most plot-driven Cirque show I have seen, which makes the lack of a proper climax scene all the more deal-breaking. Did not enjoy this nearly as much as I would have liked. Music was excellent, though, and the sheer audacity of the sets and the engineering behind them is truly impressive. Agree with others that perhaps it is time to retire the current show and re-vamp or introduce a new production.

I wish I would have read these comments before seeing this show. I saw KA on 11/13/14 and as mentioned in these comments, the climax of the show is no longer done live. It is projected onto the vertical stage. This was VERY disappointing and beneath the usual excellence of Circ du Soleil. Had I know this ahead of time I DEFINITELY would have seen another show. Caveat Emptor!

Ive seen 6 cirques. Out of all of them I regret seeing this KA. I understand the loss they encountered buy I paid $300 to watch a projected battle. There was no cirque magic. If I would have known this I would have seen a different cirque. I was extremely disappointed. I believe they should pull this one out of commission and create a new show. I'd love to see one about Greek gods. I'm sure the imagination and creativity cirque can create would be amazing

It's very sad that because of the death, they had to cut the battle scene and replace it with just a projection/video of it. Besides that, KA will always be my favorite show. I remember watching it when it first came out and it inspired me incredibly. For the people that rate the show 2 stars or lower I understand their disappointment, it's just too bad they couldn't see the full effect. I really hope they recreate the last battle scene or think of something different and better!!!

My boyfriend and I boughs tickets to see KA on October 15th. I was SERVERLY disappointed! The Finale was DIGITAL. Eccentrically we were watching a giant TV!!! We paid $145 each for these tickets and the fact that it wasn't done live is sneaky on Cirque's part. Shame on them for not letting people know when they purchase tickets that the show is not fully functioning!
