Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon and Olivia Harrison to join
Guy Laliberté in dedication to John Lennon & George Harrison
Larry King to broadcast his show LIVE from The Beatles REVOLUTION Lounge at The Mirage
LAS VEGAS - On June 26, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono Lennon, Olivia Harrison and Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté will all take part in a special dedication ceremony in honor of John Lennon and George Harrison
In May 2006 during rehearsals for LOVE, Paul McCartney and Guy Laliberté
discussed how best to recognize John Lennon's and George Harrison's contributions
to the show. Subsequently, Cirque du Soleil designers created two plaques that
will be unveiled on June 26 and then permanently displayed in the LOVE Theatre
lobby at The Mirage.
This event celebrates the one-year anniversary of LOVE and coincides with the
40th anniversary of the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album. Following
the ceremony, Larry King will interview Paul, Ringo, Yoko, Olivia and Guy for
his one hour broadcast from The Beatles REVOLUTION Lounge at The Mirage in Las
Vegas. Larry King Live airs on CNN at 9pm ET, 6pm PT. The distinguished guests
will then attend a special one year anniversary performance of LOVE.
In the past year, LOVE has played to sold-out audiences, some of whom have discovered
The Beatles music and their message of love for the first time. Celebrity guests
such as George Clooney, Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, Nicole Kidman & Keith
Urban, Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson have all seen LOVE and raved about their
experience.
LOVE celebrates the musical legacy of The Beatles and is presented exclusively
at The Mirage in Las Vegas. The project was born out of a personal friendship
and mutual admiration between George Harrison and Cirque du Soleil founder Guy
Laliberté.
