Under the blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau
At AT&T Park

Cirque du Soleil returns to the Bay Area with its latest big top production, TOTEM opening tonight (Friday, October 28) under the blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) at AT&T Park for a limited engagement until  Sunday, December 18th.

Since its world-premiere in Montreal in April 2010, TOTEM has been acclaimed by over 1.5 million people worldwide in Canada, England, The Netherlands and the United States. Following the San Francisco engagement, TOTEM will make a second appearance at the Royal Albert Hall in London as of January 5, 2012 and then return to San Jose on March 2, 1012.

About Totem
Written and directed by Robert Lepage, TOTEM traces the fascinating journey of the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. The characters evolve on a stage evoking a giant turtle, the symbol of origin for many ancient civilizations.

Inspired by many founding myths, TOTEM illustrates, through a visual and acrobatic language, the evolutionary progress of species.  Somewhere between science and legend TOTEM explores the ties that bind Man to other species, his dreams and his infinite potential.

Tickets for the added final week of performances (December 14 to 18 inclusively), as well as for all other dates and time are available now via or at the Cirque du Soleil box office located in the entrance tent (operating hours are 2 hours prior to show time to 30 minutes after beginning of the show).
