What is PARAMOUR and what is it about?

PARAMOUR is a Cirque du Soleil musical and marks the company’s first ever Broadway production. Cirque du Soleil has dazzled audiences the world over, and now it’s finally on Broadway with a “jaw-dropping” (Variety) new spectacle! Is PARAMOUR appropriate for children?

Like most of Cirque du Soleil’s shows, PARAMOUR is meant to entertain the whole family. The recommended age is over 8 years old. However, we will not turn away any patron with a purchased ticket.*

*Lyric Theatre management requests that parents or guardians temporarily step out with a child should they cause a disruption, and Lyric Theatre staff reserves the right to direct patrons to leave the auditorium should such a situation occur.

Will there be PARAMOUR merchandise available?

How do I buy tickets for PARAMOUR?

You can purchase tickets online, by phone by calling Ticketmaster at 877-250-2929, or by visiting the Lyric Theatre box office - 213 West 42nd Street, NYC 10036.

Are there PARAMOUR gift cards?

Cirque du Soleil does offer gift cards. The gift card applies only towards the purchase of tickets for shows presented within the United States and in Canada and is redeemable only at the Gift Card Shop.

Are there group ticket rates?

Is my transaction cancelled when the countdown reaches zero?

The countdown indicates the time remaining to complete that particular step of the ticket-buying process before the tickets are put back into circulation. When a countdown has finished, the system will ask. If you would like to try for the exact same tickets right now or save the ticket selections in your cart so you won't have to start over later.

Is there a VIP Experience at PARAMOUR?

Yes. The Ambassador Lounge at Lyric Theatre is an exclusive space known for its exceptional LUXURY, STYLE and SERVICE. By purchasing a seat labeled “Standard Ticket Plus Ambassador Lounge VIP Access” on Ticketmaster.com, or in person at our Box Office for an additional $25, you would enjoy: (1) access to the Ambassador Lounge during pre-show and intermission, (2) a welcome drink, (3) savory offering tableside, (4) complimentary coat check, and (5) private restrooms. What is the difference between the Ambassador Lounge and Premium tickets?

Ambassador Lounge ticket holders enjoy their experience during pre-show and intermission as VIP guests. Premium ticket holders are encouraged to purchase the Ambassador Lounge VIP Access at the Lyric Theatre Box Office based on availability.

What are the various methods of ticket delivery?

Tickets may be sent to you via email (electronic tickets), by mail or held at the Lyric Theatre box office.

What is an electronic ticket?

An electronic ticket is a ticket emailed to you (as a PDF document) minutes after your purchase. Print the electronic tickets on your printer and bring them to the show. It is important that each ticket be printed on its own sheet of paper. Electronic tickets require Adobe Acrobat Reader software on your computer in order to read and print them. It’s free, and can be downloaded at Adobe Acrobat's website.

What do I do if my computer crashes while purchasing tickets?

If your computer crashes during an online ticket purchase, please contact us. It’s important to include as much information about the purchase as possible when contacting us, particularly your order number.

Which credit cards are accepted?

Online tickets may be purchased using almost any card: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club*, Ticketmaster Gift Card*, or a debit card with a major credit card logo. Now you can even use Apple Pay with the Ticketmaster app. The Ticketmaster app only accepts credit cards with a US or Canadian billing address.

*Diners Club and Ticketmaster Gift Cards can't be used to buy Fan-to-Fan Resale Tickets.

PayPal is not an accepted payment method.

Sometimes you need a specific card to buy certain tickets (e.g. Citi Cardmember presales, American Express Preferred Seating).

All ticket prices for events that occur in the United States are stated in U.S. Dollars. All ticket prices for events that occur in Canada are stated in Canadian Dollars.

How do I buy tickets without a credit card?

Tickets may be purchased with cash or debit card at the show’s onsite box office, which is open daily - MON-SAT: 10 AM–6PM | SUN: 11AM-7PM

How much do tickets cost? What’s the performance schedule?

Ticket prices for Paramour vary by seating location, performance date and time. As prices and schedule are subject to change, please visit Ticketmaster for the most up-to-date information.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

We encourage guests to purchase tickets in advance to ensure the best seating locations, however seats remain on sale until performance time, based on availability.

Are there student discounts?

Please visit the TIX4STUDENTS.COM website to sign up and purchase tickets to PARAMOUR at the student discount rate.

TIX4STUDENTS.COM is a membership program offered that provides members with online access to purchase student priced tickets for live events offered by participating partners.  The live events may include, but are not limited to, the categories of Theatre, Music, Sports, Dance, Comedy and Other events in the United States.

Applicants must be currently enrolled (part time or full time) in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university.  Applicants must also be at least 18 years old to be eligible for membership.  TIX4STUDENTS, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to limit the number of memberships available for purchase at any time.

Are Lottery Tickets available for PARAMOUR?

A limited number of $35 tickets will be made available to every performance of PARAMOUR via the TodayTix app starting Saturday, April 16. The lottery begins each night at midnight and closes four hours prior to the performance. Winners will receive email confirmation to claim lottery tickets. Winners’ tickets are available for pick up from a TodayTix concierge at Lyric Theatre. Lottery purchases have a maximum of two tickets per person.

How can I reserve a specific seat?

During the purchasing process, Ticketmaster allows you to choose from available seat locations. For your convenience, Ticketmaster also offers the best available seats for you to choose from. You can choose the option that best suits you by clicking on it. However, should you want specific seats, it is possible to do so in person at the Box Office, by calling Ticketmaster at 877-250-2929 or or contact us.

What is the maximum number of tickets allowed per purchase?

The maximum number of tickets is nineteen (11) per person, for an online transaction. Should you wish to buy more than11 tickets, please contact Group Sales at cirquegroups@telecharge.com or 877-686-3805. You may also visit the Group Page (a group consist of a minimum of 12 persons).

Please note that some special offers only allow a maximum of eight (8) tickets per person.

What is a credit card’s verification code (also known as ‘verification number’)?

A Mastercard or VISA credit card verification code is a three-digit number located on the back of the card, at the end of the signature space. American Express cards’ verification codes are four-digit numbers found on the front of the card, just above and to the right of the credit card number.

Are tickets available for persons with limited mobility?

Wheelchair access is available at both 42nd Street and 43rd Street entrances. Please request wheelchair seating from a sales representative at time of purchase. We have designated ADA locations in both the Orchestra and Director’s Circle levels, with elevator access available to both. There is no elevator access to the Balcony level. Accessible restrooms are located in the Director’s Circle lobby. To request wheelchair seats, please contact our ADA Hotline, 212-556-4715.

At what age must tickets be purchased for children?

Lyric Theatre requires every individual who enters the theatre to have a purchased ticket. “Lap Seats,” or free tickets for small children who wish to watch the show from an adult’s lap, are not available for PARAMOUR. The Lyric Theatre box office will assist in finding appropriate seating for a child.

Purchased tickets

I’ve lost my tickets and/or confirmation!

If you’ve lost your tickets or confirmation, please contact us. It’s important to include as much information about the purchase as possible, such as the name of the person the reservation was made under, the last four digits of the credit card used, the number of seats bought, the time and date of the show, and/or your confirmation number.

Is it possible to transfer tickets I’ve bought to friends or family?

You’ve lost the PDF attachment (electronic tickets), or the email containing the PDF attachment.

If you have lost the PDF attachment (electronic tickets), or the email containing the PDF attachment, you must use your order number and email address to open a session and re-print your electronic tickets online, or request to have them emailed to you, again. The new electronic tickets will have new bar codes, meaning the original electronic tickets sent to you are void. Be sure to present to correct electronic tickets at the show. Please contact us if you have further questions.

Can I exchange or cancel my tickets?

All ticket sales are final. There are no exchanges or refunds.

What are service charges for?

There is a $.85 surcharge added to the price of each ticket purchased in support of the New 42nd Street’s not-for-profit projects. An additional $1.65 project support surcharge is added to the price of each ticket by Lyric Theatre which is used for maintenance of the historic theatre.

I haven’t received my confirmation/tickets!

If you chose to have tickets mailed to you, please allow some time for delivery. If you chose to have electronic tickets sent to you and have not received them, please contact us. It’s important to include as much information about the purchase as possible, especially your confirmation number if possible.

Can I give my tickets to someone to use?

To avoid any issues and the theatre entrance, the person(s) to whom you have given your tickets should have a photocopy of both sides of the credit card used to purchase the tickets (the first 12 numbers of the card may be blacked out), a photocopy of one of the purchaser’s pieces of identification (such as a driver’s license), and/or the confirmation number.

What should I do if I can’t print my electronic tickets?

If you cannot print your electronic tickets, please contact us. It’s important to include as much information about the purchase as possible, such as the name of the person the reservation was made under, the last four digits of the credit card used, the number of seats bought, the time and date of the show, and/or your confirmation number.

Miscellaneous

Can I check luggage, coats, umbrellas, etc, at the theatre?

Yes, coat check is available in the main lobby. There is a charge of $2 per item. If you are travelling with large luggage or packages, we encourage you to make other arrangement for such items before arriving at the theatre. Please visit our Guest Code of Conduct page for details about our bag check policy.

Does the Theatre have a lost and found?

Yes! Our staff check our facilities nightly for any items that might have been left behind.

To inquire about a lost item, please visit our Stage Door, located at 214 W. 43rd Street, or call 212-556-4750. Be sure to give us a description of the lost item, let us know when and where you think you lost it, and provide us with contact information so that we can get back in touch with you. All unclaimed items will be donated to local charities after 30 days. Lyric Theatre is not responsible for lost items, but we will do our best to reunite all lost items to their proper owner.

Can I access the on site boutique if I don’t have tickets to the show?

Our merchandise booth is only open during scheduled performance times. However, Please go to our online boutique where you can purchase merchandise items sold at the show. 

May I take pictures during the show?

For licensing and security reasons, all photo and video cameras (with or without flash) are prohibited within the Lyric Theatre auditorium once the production begins. Guests are invited to take photos pre- and post-show.

How do I get to the Lyric Theatre?

PARKING
Street parking is generally difficult to find. There are several conveniently located commercial parking lots around the theatre.

ParkWhiz makes it easy for drivers to find and pay for parking. Lyric Theatre parking can be reserved for as low as $15 a day.
