Our Approach
It has always been important to Cirque du Soleil to encourage and promote the potential of youth, since young people have such a vital role to play in the evolution of society. This is why we chose to get involved with young, people, especially marginalized young street people. Their cause is close to our hearts, and Cirque is actively seeking ways to give to them the opportunity to forge new links with the community. Cirque du Soleil has created programmes in association with partners in social and cultural action such as Oxfam International and Jeunesse du Monde, to assist young people in almost 80 communities in more than 20 countries on five continents.
