Social Action
Thanks to the performers, benefit performances take place every year during rehearsals of our shows in Las Vegas and Orlando. Tickets are sold at a modest price to employees of our hotel partners and the profits are distributed to local community social action programmes operated by our partners.
Cirque du Soleil organizes an annual fundraising event in Las Vegas called Run Away with Cirque du Soleil, a five-kilometre run and a one-mile walk to provide funds to our local social action partners. Early in 2007 we entered an agreement with the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy to develop social action initiatives.
