PART-TIME THEATRICAL AUDIO SUB, CHICAGO
Our Chicago production is searching for a part-time crew member in the Audio area. Show responsibilities include: preshow check of all gear and system checks; running the components of a performer warm-up; running cues in appropriate systems; troubleshooting any position-related issues; and assisting with changeover/ post show duties.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, innovative and enjoy working in a fast-paced and creative environment. Extensive experience and knowledge of theatrical sound systems and running shows is required. Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds.
This is a part-time hourly position at $26/hr. As a run crew sub there are no guaranteed minimum hours. A flexible schedule with regular availability on nights and weekends is required. Candidate must be available to work during the holidays (Thanksgiving through New Year’s) and weekday-day time during matinee season (March-June). Start date is August 9.
