Blue Man Group Boston is looking for a part-time Props Crew member. Props crew members are responsible for a variety of duties within the department.
Show responsibilities include: performing preset duties, executing show cues as well as turnover & post show duties in a safe, professional and timely manner. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The Props track is also the onstage camera operator, so camera operator experience is preferred and the Props track also must maintain open communication with the Video Operators regarding aesthetic of camera work.
Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and work well in a high-energy environment. Nighttime and weekend availability, a flexible schedule (especially during the holiday season) is required. Run crew experience is preferred. This position reports directly to the Production Stage Manager and the Props & Carpentry Supervisor.
